Welcome to my blog
Hello Mates.
I decided to create this blog to share with you interesting postcards or photos that I might acquire on ebay or other trading and auction places.
Hope you'll enjoy it. You are very welcome to leave comments and discuss details of photos with me.
To start with this postcard, it was used in 1916 and depicts a captured french Caudron G3 that was forced to land on 02-December-1915 in northern France and dismantled by the Germans.
Best regards
Kilian

Testing the comment!
Hi Kilian,
Exzciting prospect to see your collection of postcard / pictures coming along. This one makes an interesting start for your blog. Looking at the picture I think they have already taken the topwing apart, as this wing has a much greater span than the underwing. The left wing seems to be damamaged (drooping down)

Hi Kilian,
Nice fotograf! I'm sorry that I can not share any information on this one.
It does remind me that I didn't receive a feldpost while you were on holiday.
This is a very clean and well designed site. I hope that I can be of help on future fotografen Identification.
Regards,
FOKKERJ
According to Gilles this most probably is the Caudron of Sgt. Gaston Teisserenc (P) and Cpt. Aveline (O) of C34 captured at Roye (departement Somme)
Wonderful blog Killian. I look forward to seeing the cards in your collection, and seeing yours and others comments regarding the same.

Hello Killian
The Caudron G3 belonged to escadrille C 43 and not 34(source SHAA)
I suppose it's just an inversion
Congratulations for your blog!
BRUNO
Thanks for your comment Bruno. This might well be that i inverted the number.
Nice start at all. You can count on me for some info and material :)
Great set of images and excellent info with them
Kilian, I ran across an old posting on the whereabouts of a relative of yours (perhaps) with the 99 Aero squadron, and I might have something for you -- ran across a collection of original R. Noble Estey photos and documents, with pilot rosters from 1917-1919 and other stuff. Contact me at parks.comm@gmail.com if you are still onboard with this blog and want me to email pictures. Taryn
